Fall Color Senior Photos at a Shooting Range | Riley

This was certainly a new and exciting twist on senior photos! Riley's mom Kelley contacted us about doing photos at their private shooting club, since Riley is a nationally ranked trap shooter and the wooded property is beautiful, especially in the fall. We came out and visited the club and not only were we thrilled at how the fall colors were looking, we had a great time meeting the whole McKinney family, getting to know Riley before the session, and even practicing our target shooting on the range!
Kelley and her family had some great ideas for unique shots, so this whole experience really gave us an opportunity to get creative. How many other photographers have a chance to take photos on a live shooting range?
On top of all that, Riley is the most relaxed, humble guy and is extremely easy to photograph. Every pose felt natural and we moved through this session like a breeze. The fall colors surrounding the whole property were at their peak and we loved the setting for these photos, which really felt like a perfect fit for Riley.
